Corning Glass introduced their Pyroceram Cookware in 1958. Now over 50 years later this cookware is still a favorite among cooks. This cookware was made from Pyroceram®, a special ceramic-Pyrex glass that was first developed to be used to make the nose cones of missiles. This space age substance is highly versatile in that it can used in the freezer, then baked in an oven and used during a meal.
